There are few things I can think of that are as stressful as selling a home. Maybe root canal. Not much else. In my case, I didn’t really want to sell, but I had to. That complicated things. To say I was ambivalent is an understatement of monumental proportion. I was nervous, but also unexpectedly excited. There were times when I focused on minutiae, like where to put the TV remote (seriously, I was obsessed with the most unimportant details), and times when I couldn’t remember something as basic as my monthly maintenance. All of that was compounded by the fact that I was buying an apartment at the same time, and it needed so much work I couldn’t imagine how I would ever be able to turn it into the home I now love so much.
Enter Carlin Wright. As sensitive as she is smart and savvy, she won my trust immediately. She is very intuitive. She answered my questions before I asked them. Carlin knows her stuff—but even better, she is so attuned to the market that she knows went to play it safe and when to take a calculated risk. I worried about everything: when to list the apartment; how much to ask so that I wouldn’t lose potential buyers by pricing too high but I also wouldn’t shortchange myself; even whether I should bake brownies every day just so the place would smell homey. Carlin has experience and wisdom. I listened to her. In the end, I had five offers in two days and a signed all-cash agreement within four days of the open house. And I got a lot more money—a whole lot more—than I expected. Hard to beat that!
Carlin is a dynamo. She is also really a wonderful person. AND she never stops working her hardest. Really, never. She is incapable of doing anything less than her very best. Carlin gets every positive superlative in the English language from me. I respect her, I admire her, I trust her, and I adore her. Oh, and I still bake brownies for her. Telling me it wasn’t necessary was the only piece of advice I didn’t listen to!
There are so many positive things to say about our experience with Carlin that it’s hard to know where to begin. She was beyond amazing and there’s really nothing more we could’ve asked for.

She makes an overwhelming process easy and gets along well with everyone, which is a big asset in a world of interesting personalities.
